ACCREDITATION
Coutin School is accredited by W.A.S.C. (Western Association of Schools and Colleges), and has been since 1988. We have had three 6-year accreditations, which is the longest given at a time to any school. W.A.S.C. Accreditation allows us to provide our own High School Diplomas that are recognized worldwide at colleges and universities.

ACADEMIC PROGRAM
Each year Coutin School modifies the curriculum to best meet the academic needs of our students. Our ultimate goal is to graduate each student with a High School Diploma, and we are constantly improving our academic program to allow every student the best opportunity for success in meeting this goal.
Our students are placed at an academic level that is appropriate to their specific needs. Coutin School's unique success-oriented program transitions each student throughout the day to different classes and teachers. This approach is designed to address each student's particular abilities and challenges. We believe it is always important to look at the whole person, and not only the student’s age and grade level.
Coutin School has always been characterized by its dedicated and caring teachers who maintain highly structured, consistent, and supportive classrooms. Credentialed teachers, trained in Special Education, and the staff of teaching assistants work as classroom partners to ensure that each student receives a top quality education.
The entire staff at Coutin attend ongoing trainings, in-services and meetings, both on-site and in the community. We believe it is important for our teaching and counseling staff to continue to develop, stay current, and exchange ideas and information with other professionals. This is done so that so that we can provide innovative and successful programs.
